(CESCO) has been supplying WAB equipment \u00a0along with recycling methods.<\/p>\n<p>Recently CESCO sent me two youtubes to directly compare traditional dry abrasive blast cleaning and Wet Abrasive Blast Cleaning using their AquaMiser (TM) equipment.\u00a0I would like to share the youtubes with you.<\/p>\n<p>===<\/p>\n<p class=\"ecxMsoNormal\"><u>Dry Blast <\/u>(Traditional Abrasive Blast Cleaning) Surface Preparation<\/p>\n<p class=\"ecxMsoNormal\">Parameters:\u00a0 375 cfm compressor at 100 psi using a # 8 venturi nozzle<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0The panel was 54\u201d x 28\u201d (137 cm x 71 cm) (10.5 sq. feet) and was coated with an epoxy primer and poly urethane topcoat.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ecxMsoNormal\">Abrasive: Dupont Starblast 101 using 18 lbs per minute at a cost of $.22 cents per lb (total abrasive cost $23.76)<\/p>\n<p class=\"ecxMsoNormal\">Time: 6 minutes<\/p>\n<p class=\"ecxMsoNormal\"><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/WmwbXgnzD0k\" target=\"_blank\">Dry Abrasive Blast Cleaning<\/a><\/p>\n<p>===<\/p>\n<p class=\"ecxMsoNormal\"><u>Aqua Miser <\/u>\u00a0 Wet Abrasive Blast Cleaning (Surface Preparation)<\/p>\n<p class=\"ecxMsoNormal\">\u00a0\u00a0Parameters:\u00a0 \u00a035,000 psi\u00a0 3 gpm \u00a0using the F40 Abrasive Fan Gun with a 15 degree tip<\/p>\n<p class=\"ecxMsoNormal\">\n<p>\u00a0The panel was 54\u201d x 28\u201d (137 cm x 71 cm) (10.5 sq. feet) and was coated with an epoxy primer and poly urethane topcoat.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ecxMsoNormal\">Abrasive: Dupont Starblast 101 using 2lbs per minute at a cost of $.22 cents per lb (total abrasive cost was $1.32)<\/p>\n<p class=\"ecxMsoNormal\">\u00a0 Time: 2 minutes 43 seconds<\/p>\n<p class=\"ecxMsoNormal\"><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/MbE8xOsLr8o\" target=\"_blank\">Wet Abrasive Blast Cleaning (CESCO)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are many methods of wet abrasive blast cleaning (WAB) in surface preparation to remove coatings.
